Swirly Bowls

I love swirly bowls. The incredible and limitless colour combos that can be created within a swirly bowl are truly unique and original. Today I finished 4 swirly bowls that I absolutely love. Pretty sure they won't be going in the cabin for sale. Feeling like they belong in my kitchen. Although, I understand our pottery guild is having a call for artists to provide "bowls for seniors" - an event that has been going on for a few years. Perhaps I will part with one of the bowls and a lucky senior with a sense of colour (and humour) will provide it with a new home. But swirly bowls are meant for more than porridge or cereal. They are a work of art to be marvelled at and loved for years to come. Maybe my senior will pass theirs on down to a relative as a beloved heirloom. I know I would.
